How to Prepare Vegan Waffles for Kids

Ingredients:

3 cups of spelt flour 

2 teaspoons ofaluminum-free baking powder

1 teaspoon ofsea salt

3 teaspoons of cinnamon 

1/2 cup of maple syrup 

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

2 tablespoons of flaxseed meal mixed with 6 tsp. of warm water (egg replacer) 

1/3 cup of grape seed oil


Instructions: 

  1. In a large bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients. 
  2. Add your wet ingredients to the dry mixture, one at a time. Flaxseed meal, grapeseed oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract. 
  3. Heat the waffle iron. 
  4. Pour mixture in waffle iron. Serve with your favorite fruit topping, nuts and maple syrup.
